Drove a defender today

Drove a left hooker new Defender 90 van today. It's still my dream vehicle and the only one I was enthusiastic about getting into. Drove loads of Porsche Boxters, Carrera Turbos, Cheynee, Most of the Audi range but no s4, Voltswagens and Skodas (new ones are very good these days but they have so much trouble with their reputation).

I was loading the Defender into a ship and had to stop half way up the ramp so selected low gear and give it some. Love it.

I doubt I will every be able toget myself a defender what with mortgage, and [bauble] csa on my case.

Try a Santana - about 20% cheaper, have seen them and sat in a few (but not driven one) and they are pretty impressive actually.

However, I think the depreciation would be higher, so it may be a false economy.

Cannot afford anything. Thanks to csa I am living on £30 less than if I was on the social. It's only because of the house that I bother to still work.
