Still here just been busy of late. We've just sold the house so no doubt in the near future I'll loose internet access for a while as we move  :(

Cheers guys, yes we did Richard.

It's all going through now at all ends so hopefully be in the new house within 4-6 week.

I believe I have to notify AOL as soon as possible with my new address so they can start sorting things out, how did you get on Richard when you moved  :?:

I was told on inital contact that all I had to do was 'plug in & play'.
Now that was wrong.....

I could use dial-up, but you have to let them know  (so they don't charge you at BroadBand rate for the time)
As soon as possible let them know the new phone-number so that they can get BT to enable the BB connection at the local exchange.

(is the house on-line at the estate agents web-site??, PM me (if you don't want to post it here) & lets have a look)

Remember the stick I got about the internet having a 'breathing space' whilst I was off-line when we moved in to this 2-room shack

I Might Be Gone Some Time

Sorry Andy, having re-read that it says 14days (approx ) for enabling of 'BB'

Cheers Richard, I think we are hoping that I can borrow a van from work over a weekend to move the bulky items.

We are actually buying the mother-in-laws house because see is off to sunny spain. It's more of a finanical move than anything else but it is a nice house which is located nearer to schools and Jaynes work so it has it's benefits.

We are going to start boxing things up this weekend as we can now move boxes over there, so hopefully all that is left is the heavy furniture.

It's totally mad at the minute, because until you move you never realise how much there is to sort out

Oh and sorry no pictures.

I'm pretty certain that Jayne will make sure you do without it
You won't have the time

Will you have better garaging/trailer parking facilities than where you are at present?

Parking, well if anything it's worse than it is now.

It's at the top of a cul-de-sac so you can imagine where do you park a large 4x4  :?:

We are once moved in going to have the front all drive way so I can at least park outside the house otherwise it's down at the bottom of the street which I could'nt do all the time so the front garden is a must when we get moved. There will also be room for the Sankey thank god.

Blimey
I thought it was bad enough for you now, I suppose I'm (we're) lucky in that respect, as we had space for a double-garage & can still get 2 cars on the drive.
We've also got loads of room over the wall as well, I think there was 10 cars here one day & we didn't encroach on the neighbours

Very lucky, but needs must.

I'm sure once the drive is done I'll be a little more happy about the move, lets hope so anyway.

If you are only moving across town then it might be easier to get BT to transfer your existing Tel. No. to the new house.
I've done it 3 times so far. A lot less hassle.

Thanks, it's fairly nice now it's almost done.

Before we bought it, the previous owners sold off the bottom 150foot of garden fo a building plot.
They told us it was for a bungalow, but on meeting the buyer he was putting a 3-bed detached up!!
