Nuts day?
« on: July 14, 2005, 16:41:30 »
This morning getting off the M27 almost tail-ended by a [ed: naughty] in a bmw x5, though the sight of my tow bar made him brake harder!!!!

This afternoon just trying to get into lane one to exit at another junction and a nut in a pugot tried to undertake, though his sudden realisation that his nice new large pug wouldn't fair too well against a j plate disco with a huge tow-bar seemed to have the required effect....

Thursday is now NUTS day!!!!

You're right Julie, not doing much for us girls sorry

Don't know how to change a message.

Mind you, no disrespect but I often find that women can be right ar**s on the road, expecially those who seem to think that putting on lipstick, chatting on mobile phone and driving are things which should all happen at same time.

I like to think of myself as a non-woman most of the time

Agree.

The sun makes people a bit daft.

I got told about someone who did the time-honoured trick of cutting down the near-side of an artic that was indicating left, but had swung to the right..

Yes & one more (chav-mobile) Corsa gone

Luckily for him (& his passengers) he braked sufficiently & lived, but with a varied collection of soiled underwear.

Think his bonnet took some paint off the side under-run bars
Bet he won't do it again & will give the trucks more room in future

You are spot on about the summer heat. More crashes happen in the summer than winter.

To change what you have written in a post, there is a box on the right #-o  hand side that says 'edit'.  Click on that and you can change what you have put.

Being all woman,I generally put my lipstick on just before I get out of the car, what about you V8 Redline?????

Just showing how you can edit it!

I've had a very exciting day, still not come back to the land of reality!!!!!!!!  Too many big customers to get and not enough time!   God I'm good.  If I don't blow my own trumpet, no-one else will. Well actually, that is not true.  There are lots of people giving the well earned praise I am due to me.  I thank them all, even though you lot on here do not know them. 8)

Ok, I'll calm down now.

Prat in a freelander this morning doing 75 ish towing a single axle caravan on the M27, lots of other 'vans around as the ferry was just in, seemed a bit upset when he had to slow for the truck in the middle lane, then a disco driver who wanted to exit the motorway....

Only in the middle lane eh, definately not unknown to see some prune using lane 3 on the motorway, whilst towing, anything from a small camping trailer to a twin wheeler. Some seem to forget (or even know) that there is a lower limit for trailers
