Series 2A £750
« on: July 15, 2005, 11:16:34 »
Advice please. You may know that I have been trying to get my brother to give me his Series 2A so I can get the work done on it (lots needs doing) and get it back on the road. It does not have MOT and don't know exactly what needs doing. He wants £750 for it. Is that a lot?

Thanks

first work out the cost of the repairs needed,
work out how long it will take you to repair it
then compare this to MOTed land rovers offered for sale
in loot and autotrader etc,
remember there are many unfinished projects for sale
often not recouping the money spent on the project
Never underestimate the power of a sick mind !!!!
What would scooby doo!!!!
remember if you camp next to the toilets you get to meet everybody at least once over the weekend

with no MOT it would have to be total original (or something special)  to be getting that sort of money.
take a look on ebay and www.series2club.co.uk to get an idea of what sort of price- related to condition etc. (as with no pic or back ground, hard to give an honest price)
