Was there Saturday, went past the muddy web stand, was going to come and introduce myself when it wasn’t as busy but forgot to come back that way #-o .
Was spent up by about 3:00. Spotted a members discovery on the discovery owner’s club stand and a few driving back from the off road course.
All in all a great day out. Just got back home this morning.

Matthew

Went round the land rover experience course in the new RR sport (Very Nice).
About halfway round the course there’s this old boy walking along the track. The driver pulls over to tell him that it isn’t safe to be there and that he shouldn’t be on the course. only to get a right mouth full off the bloke, saying that there was a right of way across it and he was going to walk across it if he wanted then stormed off.
Weird bunch these ramblers, they cant all be like that, can they?

Matthew

Did hear rumors that a motor did a roll over and the other story that a child fell out the back of one.

2 ambulances were seen going off site at very high speed and the air ambulance landed near the off-road course. I've not heard anything else about it.

Heard the same rumour about a roll-over which required the air ambulance Saturday afternoon.  Apparently it was at the 180 turn at the end of the long straight between the first two water obstacles.  Ties in with the fact that the long straight wasn't open on Sunday.
Cheers, Simon

Wifey's other half, but not the better one.

We heard that the rollover victims were all fine... a few stitches between them and a lot of blood for effect.

and people wonder why the marshals tell people to buckle, up nothing like being in a landie when its doin an impression of being a cement mixer, its not BIG or clever not wearing seatbelts if you have got them or carrying anything in the back that can float around. they might be ok, bit will you be in the same situation ?  think carefully when offroading as the road is anything but flat normally.
everything in the path of life becomes clear when you get the wipers working .....................mmmmm then theres the washer bottle motor DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH
