its happend at last those little clunks you can here under the car have come to life the bottum of the frunt shocks have snaped off what to do know do i fit a lift kit or not i was going to fit one at a later date due to the price of them but now i have to do something soon any one got any lift kits going cheep???????????????if so ill have them :cry:  :cry:  :cry:

:-k If you're considering lifting, here's a brief shopping list if you want to do it well-
Springs, shocks, camber correction front radius arms, some new bushes and a double UJ front prop (a la TD5, Stage 1 v8 etc).

That lot will set you back the best end of 500+ sheckles, if you're lucky.

Nowt's cheap in this world I'm afraid to say! :(
It could be done for less coin but their could be handling and wear issues.

If it were my money and I really wanted the lift, I'd have done it anyway. It might just be cheaper just to replace your front shocks (about 40 squid) for the time being and save until you can comfortably afford all the above.

If you go for just a 1" lift, you don't need camber correction front radius arms, new bushes or a double UJ front prop.

And you can get 235/85x16 tyres on :D

Or new heavy duty springs and gas shocks, if things are that bad even this replacement will give ya lift, and a better ride for now :wink:
