Off roading school

Has anybody been to an off roading school using there vehicles rather than your own.
as i am looking for an off roading school as a 40th birthday present
i am happy to pay and travel for a good days driving
but as usual i dont know what i'm getting for the money so i  need some recomendations please
and as they can cost £200 i dont want to get a bad one (are there any bad ones?)

im sure there is a 4x4 tuition in knowsley safari park but failing that the landrover experience centres dotted around the country do this kind of thing

nearest to blackpool would be the one in bala, north wales.
