Tips on sealing front air vents needed!!!
« on: February 04, 2004, 20:06:00 »
Hi, I cannot get the air vent (flaps) to seal properly on a 110. Have tried everything including new seals. Or is there an aftermarket seal which is better???

Any help appriciated. Thanks.

Wes, did you remove the old knackered bits of seal first?

You might need to take the vents apart and rebuild them. After years of being forced shut on duff vent seals they could have been bent.
Come kneel with me in the Chapel of Solihull and worship at the altar of the Green Oval

The 110 is only 9 months old!!!
And i did remove the old seals properly.

I have heard that there is a different seal which you can get made from rubber and not the foam crap that LR have. Anyone got any web sites???
