Hydraulic pipe bits ?
« on: July 22, 2005, 18:08:36 »
Anyone know where I can get some pipe-blanking plugs (don't know the size, 'cos I haven't measured yet !) - the winch has got to come off the Defender for the foreseeable future due to an insurance 'issue'

Rather than strip the whole hydraulic system out, I'll just take the winch and bumper off and blank the pipes that feed the winch - but what with ?

TIA

You can buy proper blankers to fit whatever the hose size you have.
Find yourself a Hydraulic Hose place and ask them for the relevant one.

 as an example  http://www.customhose.co.uk/

try any tractor dealership or http://www.pirtek.com for your nearest depot or failing that have a look in the phone book for hydraulic engineers
