Discovery 200tdi Headlights
« on: August 14, 2005, 16:43:55 »
Just picked up a J Reg'd 200Tdi Disco.

Got it home to find that one of the headlights has a nice hole in it and the other has a uge crack across it!!

Bought with no MOT, so obviosly need to sort this out rapidly.  Can anyone suggest a decent place to get both lights from.

:EDIT: Oh yeah I also need a mounting plate to stop the bloody battery moving around!!

Cheers

Steve.

Cheers chaps.  Have just ordered the bits from John Craddock.

Paddocks didn't have the battery carrier, but John did.

A quick tip. Try to salvage your headlamp mounts. Bev fitted some on his (brand new headlights and adjusters) and the adjusters/mounts were absolutely rubbish.
We ended up heating them with a soldering iron to get them to get the plastic to grip on the threads.
