The last 15 overs were more like a one dayer.
It was a shame the last over didn't have the same quality as the rest of the play.

Bring it on at Trent Bridge.

You should know Phil that I've only got one. It's above my username.

La La Laaaaaaaaaa, La La La Laaaaaaaaa, La La Laaaaaaaaa, La La La LAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Sorry just had to!

I could not tear myself away from the cricket all day! AND I was late for rugby training

Profesional rugby is a bit boring, I agree, but lower level and playing it is a different matter

you see, my problem with most of these sports is that they aren't really spectator sports to me, when you can do them yourself with a minimum of equipment I'd get more enjoyment out of playing them personally..

then again, I'd get more enjoyment out of actually racing in F1, only my finances don't quite stretch that far :(

Bev Sooty spoke to me last night and it took some time to get him to understand how a match could end in a draw.

So I've decided to post this t see if it helps others.

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side thats been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out.
Sometimes you get men still in and not out.

When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay all out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game!

That might (or might not) help.
