I can't say for definate. The two bumpers take a different line around the headlight area but I'd have thought the chassis mounts are in the same place.
I've seen a disco winch bumper on a RRC.

Paul might be along soon. He'll know.

I Thought i'd read that they are on the verge of banning them. I know at the moment manufacturers have agreed not to fit them to new motors but I thought europe were gono ban them officially across the board?

This will sound like a stupid question, but what's the point of them?  To protect the lights?  Because you don't see many people pushing bulls around with them.  I can't think of any situation I've been in where a bull bar would have been useful.  :?

Or is it to get into tight parking spaces?

It would follow from that that they'd go for winches and bumpers next.

AIUI they can't retro it only stop them being fitted after a certain date. I'd have to take a grinder to my winch bumper to take the roo bar bit off.

Only reason I used to have a bar on mine was that it had built-in recovery points on the front of it, somewhere to hang the spotlights and I couldn't find an A bar at the time

If we're talking purely for on road use then there more than likely isn't a need for them.

Off road and in well overgrown lanes there's definately a need.

I had one on my Transit and I rear ended someone that decided they wanted the left hand filter lane (as they do in London) when they were in the right hand lane virtually stationary and the nearside lane was moving at 30mph.

Not a lot of damage to my Transit but it split the metro like a bean can.

I had a classic rangie bull bar on my series 1 for a while.
I suppose it depends on which type of bull bar it is.
Here's a picture of mine
