There is a  Fused Relay just in front the Battery next to the Radiator! and it is something to do with the offside Main Beam!
There is Power Going into the Relay but none going into the wire for the main beam does anyone else have a relay in this position?
Mine is a (WEHRLE 20 200 102) FUSED is this standard fitment to the 200tdi ? or is it someone else?

Just for interest!  And this is True!

I was explaining to a mate of mine about this duff relay!
"he asked what the relay is for"
so i told him that it was for the offside main beam headlight!
he said "what is that"
so i had to explain to him why there is dipped and main beam headlights on all cars/vans/trucks etc and i said to him about the little blue warning light on his dash when he puts the main beam on!
the answer he gave me Shocked me!!
He said and i quote " I thought that was my front FOGLAMPS" and i only use it when its foggy"
and he was deadly serious!!  God help us if that is what driving instuctors are teaching these days.

Its possible that it might have been for some spot lights that may have been mounted previously?
Mine had a relay behind the grill for that purpose.

It's usual for extra relays to be used if people have fitted higher power bulbs to make up for the lack of light emitted from Disco headlights.

The wiring isn't up to much more than the standard bulbs.
Of course you shouldn't fit over 55w ;)
