Hmmmm...the only last minute tweaking I had left to do was to change the paperwork from P19 MUD to P19 WOL....

Lucky I'm off work until a week after Belgium, loads of tweeking time!!  :D

Drivers side CV joint, wheel bearings & seals.
New doughnut for the rear prop (had to take the Rangie prop off cos it was vibrating between 55 & 70, nightmare for that trip!!  :( )
Twin rear shocker kit fitted today, will drive it in the morning to see how it handles.  :D Also got photos as I went through so something for the Workshop section coming up!!

Now all that's left is check the oils, change the drive belt & fuel filter and clean the K&N, I think!  :P

Well, it looks like it's my and my oldest boy!

I'm hoping to clean out the intercooler tomorrow, plus a few other service type bits. Might even give it a bit of a clean

Any advice on where to head for in the campsite?

Follow the marked road into the camping area, take the second left towards the main arena. Hang a right at the back on the main tent and you'll see the grass "fingers" on your right. We are normally somewhere on the 3rd to the 6th finger.

Looks like the Yorkshire lot, that we normally camp with, arn't going this year so it's just myself, Carol & Dave Barker with his red 90. So you're all welcome with us, or we may come in with you if you get there first. :D

We are getting an early ferry, so if you give us a shout on CH30 (UK ... naughty us!) we'll see if we can make a space. I suppose I could crank up Owls sound system and just play something offensive ;-)

Since Budgie made me feel all guilty about prepping vehicles I've been out and done this to Owl....

....and then I decide to read the little handbook (little???). It details removing the front bib to protect it from being broken....so off I go, discover that some dealer has also been in there to remove the bash plate to access the engine (lower) and only put half the bolts back in (grrrrr) ... and now the front end looks like this ....

I think you'll be easy enough to spot on the site with OWL so we'll keep an eye out when we get there.

We're on the 09:28 Channel Tunnel crossing - hoping to get there around mid-day... :?

I'll follow your campsite instructions and maybe we'll end up in a similar location

Yep, we'll keep an eye out for you, you may be there before us as it's just over an hours drive from the coast to the site.

I did the route on the GPS last night, 61.7 miles (as the crow flies) from Zeebrugga to the campsite!!  :D

It's the 3 hour ferry crossing + 430 miles to get to Hull that I'm not looking forward to!!

So do I, but there are limits!!  :D

The A9 from Inverness to Perth is the worst part, the rest is mainly duel carrageway or motorway so it's on with the cruise control and site back!!

No bouncing around on the back end now I've fitted the twin rear shocks. Took it into the town this morning and what a difference.
The back end is solid but not uncomfortable, although the waffles make a bit of a noise going over bumps so I'll have to do something about that before the cobbles in Belgium!!   :D
