Whos made their auto shifter look pretty?
« on: August 24, 2005, 11:29:05 »
I need some pics for ideas how to mount a ZF shifter to a 90 transmission tunnel.  I used to have my own tunnel but it looked rubbish so Im going back to using the 90 tunnel.

However I need to mount the shifter.  Any grand ideas???

Pics would be great!!  :D  :D

I have seen a nice and tidy job done using a Discovery centre console...  it ran across the top of the tunnel and back to the cubby box.

That said, on mine, I have just got it bolted on a bracket right next to the driver's seat which puts it in very easy reach, even when the dog is sitting in the middle (which she invariably is)

Come on Tim, dont talk about joanne like that, this is a family club

Think Im going to to go with the bolt to bracket option for the time being.  Just keeping an open mind.  Fancy something different but not sure what.  I'll work something out I'm sure.
