anyone know why my radio stays on for 7-8 seconds when i switch of and take key out
it only done this since replacing lr radio with sony radio
its not a problem if it stays that way , just wondered why ?

The only thought that occurs to me is that for some reason you (or the fitter) has picked up a live from the interior lamp feed, as they are delayed action?
Mine's a swine as well, it either only plays through the rear door speaker, or the left channel only :x

i would test your live with a meter to see if it is keeping power for a few seconds and if it is look for a better live. joe

mine plays music for a while then beeps to remind me to take face off
i havent chopped any wires to fit it just plugged it in to the standard wiring loom
very strange

It's probably a Sony thing, to protect the CD changer and electrics when you are cranking perhaps, or to allow it to beep at you (I have a Sony that does that too). DOn't worry, it's probably meant to :roll:
