My 200Tdi Disco failed it MOT this morning for
"Track rod end ball joint has excess play"
Is it a case of replacing it or is there an adjustment on it?
Any advise welcomed.
Thanks,
Gary.

Replace it as there is no adjustment. :)

Ten or fifteen minutes work too, you may want to count just how many times you have to turn it to get it off (or otherwise mark it) too.

Before you start unscrewing the track rod end! Use some old spray paint where the two meet! when you put the new one on you only need to go as far as the fresh paint! 8) 8)
