I splashed circa £65.00 into it on Tuesday morning on my way to work, but it was just the usual fortnightly/3-weekly fill-up.

SWMBO said she queued as she was Leicester bound on Wednesday morning for a couple of big meetings


The local one ran out of unleaded on Tuesday PM, another was limiting to £15.00 & over to avoid the silly sods taking £2.50 to 'brim it'

On my way to work there's a JET & that had a sign out saying 'Diesel For Emergency Service Vehicles Only'  :shock:

hee hee, due to electrical and organisational problems (mislaid docs, couldn't get tax :(  ) I'm actually still running on the tankfull I put in before the protest-that-never-was; can anyone else claim this kind of fuel economy? :lol:

Last time I filled up the series 3 was sometime in April, so there was enough for the MoT.

Not been driven much since :( Been up for sale for ages, but no one's interested. eBay by the weekend - with historic fuel!!!!

The day before the aledged strike our local radio station did an offer for about an hour where they paid the fuel difference so you got it at the price 5 years ago, everyone was queing down the road.

Well the price drop didn't last long up here.
When we got back from Belgium it had dropped from £1.07 down to £1.04. Last week diesel went back up to £1.07 and unleaded stayed at £1.04.  :evil:
