The disco need new springs and shocks.

When I fitted an Old Man Emu kit to my hybrid the ride difference was amazing so I'd like to uprate it on the disco too...

BUT, I cant really justify the huge expence on my disco so what do you suggest?

Britpart??

A good aftre market kit (suggestions please!!)
Save up and get the Old man Emu (I know what Tim  will say....)

I've been very please with my *budget* set up, a combination of Britpart springs and pro-comp shocks. You can buy the springs as standard i think. Certainly improved the ride and handling before I started playing with all the other add-ons.

Depends what you're doing with it really, but I do rate OME stuff.  Why no lift though?

OE springs (HD on rear) and Koni adjustable shocks. You won't regret it :)

DO NOT get the BM blue springs. Your disco will gain a list!! OME are very good. Just get a set of the HD ones.

Don't know what ProComps are like on a road motor, but they are superb on the racer.

I had Koni Sport shocks on my old Sierra 4x4 Estate and TD Golf which completely transformed both cars.  Haven't tried their 4x4 range though.

I have put 'Allmakes' std springs and 'Woodhead' O/E shocks on my tow motor.  They were cheap and do fine, but I half wish I had upgraded the shocks on it when I did it.

It's difficult to say how much better they are over (still working) standard shocks, but when I replaced mine (worn out ones) with ProComp ES9000's the difference was significant!

I dont want a lift mainly as its simply a road vehicle.  Its used for towing large weights and the more stable the truck is the better in mky books and making it higher is just a no go for me!!

Looks like OME springs and a choice of shocks then.....

I'll get a price of Devon, new I'd end up with what I wanted, this just means I can justify it to SWMBO

I've just fitted a set of 'police spec' to the RRC and they arn't supposed to be lifted, well it sits damn near as high as the 2inch lifted motor and the steerings pretty dire, I'm not very impressed as it also leans to the right because the springs wern't even a pair.
