has any one tried holding there rear springs into place with a metal hose clamp as i aint put any dislocation cones on rear end and i was wondering if this would work till i get a set any one tried this befor regards colin

my disco has jubilee clips holding the top of the rear springs in place,they were already on when i bought it and i haven't had any problems yet!!!

ive got jubilee clips on all my motors,(racer,road 90 & dads 110) & they do the job just braw

I have heard, though, that you need to make sure the bottom clamp/bracket is in good condition! Ideally an extra strength one :shock:

works on mine but i have uprated the lower spring clamps just in case :wink:

just been out and clamped the rear springs with them metal thingys yes i know its just gone 10.30 wont have time tommorrow and just fitted wading plugs as i will forget them also tell the wifes away got the kitchen full tools the yard was scatted yesterday with tools and the dogs need a walk just as well i fed kids ha ha nearly forgot but how they remind you
