The convertible could be either a; 'FLM Panelcraft', 'Townley' or 'Wood & Pickett'

The Fire-Tenders are Carmichals(?) & are featured in 'LRM' this month

The red 'Toytowner' is a styling exercise for a late 90's(97-98 ) Defender replacement, known as the LCV2

It featured in 'LRM' a couple of years ago
I think it had a 2litre diesel (like Rover 600)
Richard A Thackeray
Defender 110Td5 'Heritage Gone, but not forgotten
Jaguar XKR; X88 JLT, also 'gone, but not forgotten'

Yorkshire Born & Bred, and proud of it.

Yes, they're well nice, if seemingly a bit 'Heath Robinson'
I saw one at the Ackworth Historic Vehicle & Steam Rally2005.
I know they're a case of 'Form Follows Function', but not the best finish in the world.

I'll bet you'll like these Fire-Appliances then?

Any noticed in the background of the LCV2 image?:
The cut-away 90 CSW
The adjacent Austin Champ?
The Darien Gap Range Rover
The Series 1 fire-tender (belongs to Ross Floyd, the 'LRM' columnist, or did)
What looks like the roof of a Tickford Series 1 Station Wagon
The millionth(?) Landie, the Series 3 finished in that weird metallic-ish green (or am I seeing things?

I renewed with Adrian Flux, as the 'Greenlight' quote was £358.

I was surprised that in 'this day & age', the 3points (& £60.00 fine) SWMBO picked up in Leicester (or Market Harborough) made no differance to the premium

Have you ever seen that episode of 'The Simpsons' where Homer has the crayon removed from his brain? (he inserted it up a nostril) & he starts cogitating?

Could my broken nose have had the same effect?
