300 Series rear bumper lights - broken wires
« on: October 12, 2005, 11:47:13 »
I had a problem with the bumper tail lights on my 300 TDi Disco. One of the wires going into the connector that goes into the back of the bulb holder had corroded and broken, right inside the connector.

I spoke to Andy at Land Rover Heaven about a second hand connector that I could splice in but he didn't have any. Then he emailed me back saying that Famous Four sell a repair kit for them as it seems it quite a common problem.

So if anyone else is looking for a fix, look no further.   :D

What service from Famous Four! I ordered the parts on Thursday afternoon and they arrived on Friday afternoon. Well done Famous Four and Royal Mail.  =D>

Anyways, got the light sorted today. New plug and bulb holder done & working in about 10 minutes. I'll post the maker & part No when I get time (working tonight!!!).  :D
