GEARBOX IN BITS

Just thought you would like to see my gearbox problems. 3rd and 4th syncromesh got a tooth missing. Anybody know where to buy a new one cheep. £37 is the cheepest I have found so far.

I'd of placed it all out in a line as it was took apart....

So I'm going for 'Not sure. I will be watching this post'

got a dying gearbox myself but not sure if i have got the bottle to take it apart :lol:

Yes I think layout and loads of pics would have been my way too, will definately help on re-assembly

When I do a strange drum brake setup, I usually snap a pic or draw a sketch on the spring and clip layout,  by the time i get to putting it back together, the brain has a panic attack

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40

 :lol:  I had a mate come by once when I was overhuling an auto box and said the worm trail castings made him physically ill!  He swore that fill and drain plugs were 'portals to the gears' and that no one should ever go there!  :lol:
