Etch Primer
« on: October 13, 2005, 16:35:07 »
Does anyone know where I can get hold of 12oz (500ml I think) cans of spray etch primer to do some touch-up bodywork on the Disco?

The only stuff I've found on the net is "Wurth Etch Primer" but it only seems to be available from the U.S.

As I'm on an island I'd prefer a supply that I can get mail order.

Thanks in advance for any info.  :D

Have you tried Wurth in the UK?
Isn't there a paintshop or paint supplier on the Islands?

I'd have suggested Frost if it hadn't already been mentioned.

http://www.frost.co.uk
Search on etch primer brings up some at around £11.

Thanks for link Peter & Ed, I spent ages searching through Google and found nothing, apart from two-pack marine etch primer.

That one at Frost will do the job nicely.  :D

Frost's catalogue is nearly as bad as the one from Vehicle Wiring Products.

I'll have one of those and one of those, oh and they look good one of those.
Mmm one of those.... and so on it goes.
