PC Question. How Do I...?
« on: October 14, 2005, 00:19:10 »
One of SWMBO's counterparts at Leicester has sent us a brilliant picture that I'd like to share with you all.

However, it's been sent as a Word Document.
In simple terms (computer semi-illiterate, remember  ), how do I transfer an image to a JPEG image so I can put it on here?

Right, here goes:

Open Word and get the documnet on screen.
RIGHT CLICK on the picture and select 'COPY'
Click on START
Click on PROGRAMS
Click on ACCESSORIES
Click on PAINT

In Paint:
Click on EDIT
Click on PASTE

It may ask if you want to expand the size to fit the picure (or some other rubbish like that - if so YES you do)
Click on SAVE AS
SAVE AS TYPE - Change to JPEG
Amend where you would like to save the file in the usual manner.

Hopefully that is it, you should now have a .jpg file which you can post here.

Can't wait to see it now.

Thanks Guys (including 'TUFF TEE' & 'Reaper' who pm'd)

I followed Tims instructions
I'd tried simply to copy it via 'Irfan-View' & it wouldn't

Hope you find it as good as we did, it's one of those forced perspective paintings/drawings

Don't Look Down

Sorry it's ever so slightly trimmed
