Hi,
Iv'e had something similar a few times. A very officially 'ebay' looking message saying that there had been attempts to access my account from another computer and I should go to a link and verify my card details or my account would be disabled.
It didn't quite make sense as I have always accessed the account from more than one computer. Obviously I didn't do as asked and my account was never disabled.
I did however change my password again just in case!

LOL that must be a poor lonely individual who did that one then. Generally the spoof emails are very much the same as the ones ebay and paypal send to you, because the spoofers basicaly copy and paste an email. The only difference is ebay and paypal will never ask you to click a link and enter details (aside from setting the account up to confirm your email addy) because they just ask you to log into your account and read the messages.
The obvious spelling mistake means its probably come kid who's bored.

trust me
the only emails paypal or ebay will send you is marketing ones where they are telling you about deals you can do for selling that particular week
NEVER about your account!
you will get your notification if you are bidding.. but NEVER about your account! (i think thats made it clearer :) )

Yeah, is just the same as all the bank scams, just after all your details through a . . . . "link" . . . .

If your ever not sure about a message from Ebay have at look in the 'My Messages' section of your 'My Ebay' account.
Any genuine message from Ebay will also be copied there.
If it's not there, but you have recieved a message in a email - then the email is spoof.
