hi guys n girls. need alittle bit of advice. my water pump on my 200tdi disco has started to leak. its dribbling out of the little hole on the underside of the pump. i have a new one on order from paddocks but it wont be here till monday.
now my question is " is there anything i can do to temp stop the dribble such as rad weld ect. its only temp as new pump will be here monday. or is it a case of carry lots of water with me....

i know that if it was me i would not use till monday but if you have to check fluid level and carry enough water to top up as needed but keep eye on level all while you could cause damage else where from over heating regards colin

cheers for the advice. i have just sorced one locally for £45+vat which isnt too much more than paddocks. i can pick it up in the morning. well there goes my sunday afternoon. :roll:

if its dribbling out of the hole underneath the internal seal is leaking which is usually an indicator that the bearings are on their way out, get it done sooner rather than later :D
