I have RAC cover - Solution 1.

Problem car has broken down at home.

I am\thinking of upgrading today to include home start or whatever it's called and calling them on Monday AM.

Question - When one has home start and they can't get it going will they tow it to a garage ?

Only if you ask them to. But why wait ask the local garage to come and hav a look and tell you whats wrong. Most will not charge as they think they are going to get the work.

I have spoken to the guy at the local (10 miles) garage. He has asked if I can get the car to him. I am of to Austria tomorrow lunchtime for a few days on business and the Mrs needs to car for school.

I have had them out a few times and not always given them the work. Theres no harm in asking.

(1) move car down road
(2) call R.A.C
(3)Ask to be taken to garge

Works every time
