the new truck has arrived

picked up my new motor this evening, its a 1990 vogue tdi.

its already got a 2" old man emu lift on it and handles really nicely

bit agricultural with the oil burner under the hood but goes ok aslong as you keep the peddle mashed into the floor

will go out and take some photos tomorrow

the body work is in pretty good shape just a litttle battered below the rubbing strips. a chequer plate kit will soon hide all that. had a good poke around yesterday and it all appears pretty solid sills, inner wings etc and its got a new top tailgate fitted.

the inside needs a good clean, job for tomorow and the heated windscreen has some wiring issues but apart from that cant find to much wrong with it

looks like i got myself a bargain

I've got a feeling i saw that car the other day.
I think it was wednesday.
I remembered the back end higher than the front.
Was it anywhere near south London or west London on that day Steve?

the back end is sitting higher because of the way its parked
its been in southampton for a few weeks and hasnt moved so i doubt it was the one you saw

once ive had a play with it it will soon be easily recognisable
