Peel Sessions...
« on: October 27, 2005, 10:49:06 »
.... Sorry they were on last night on BBC3, between 22:30 & 00:00.

It was a compilation from various sources of bands that had (obviously) been featured in J-P's sessions.

I only saw it from 23:00, but what a blast from the past :D

Bob Marley & The Wailers; 'Stir It Up'
Joy Division; 'Transmission'
The Smiths; 'This Charming Man'
Half-Man Half-Biscuit; 'Trumpton Riots'
Pulp; 'Babies'
Brinsley Schwartz; '??'
Billy Bragg; 'A New England'
The Specials; 'Much Too Young' (?)

Plus;
Elastica
The Fall
White Stripes
then someone covering 'Teenage Kicks'

After that there was the 'John Peel meets The Undertones' at 01:00, didn't stop up for that though.

Did anyone see the full programme, or The Undertones special??
Richard A Thackeray
Defender 110Td5 'Heritage Gone, but not forgotten
Jaguar XKR; X88 JLT, also 'gone, but not forgotten'

Yorkshire Born & Bred, and proud of it.
