I just sold my old 2.5TD (19j) engine on ebay, thought those engines were practically worthless so started the auction at £20.

Went for £410. \:D/  


 That's a tenner more than i payed for the 200TDi....... On ebay! well chuffed going to spend that tenner in the pub tomorrow. :wink:

I sold an old bike on ebay yesterday. Turns out the new owner is also into Land Rovers. So he went away with the bike and a mud-club flyer

Done the very same with some manta stuff then found out the ally big wing sumps were fetching upto £80 :roll:
Only binned it because I tripped over it and gashed my leg :twisted:

Still there is the odd bargain to be had- I got a stainless patrol A bar with a pair of blue hellas for the princely sum of £25 8)

I tried to sell a digital thermometer on there last week, had a couple of watchers but no takers other than some chap having a laugh with an offer after it had finished and not sold.  :roll:

Last week I won a 3.5 EFi engine, with EFI gear, alternator, PAS pump, cooling fan etc etc for...............£147!!  :D

A couple of months ago I won a Nokia 6220i, 6 months old with everything in the box for £80, they're something like £220 new.  :D

I think my more unexpected sale was a Land Rover spare wheel centre cover that went for £35, I expected to get about £10 for it. It's only a plastic cover after all!!  :?

I bought some RR police spec springs for £30 from paddocks.

Never fitted them so one year I thought I'll stick them on ebay.


Guess what.....some monkey bought them for £56!!!!!

Don't worry Phil, I knew it had 'a' value, but it's not worth that much, so it's much better sat on the back of your 110, than as a few pounds rattling round in my pocket. I've bought loads from eblag, but selling anything like that seems like too much hassle.

That's strange..... whenever I try to sell anything on eBay it never goes to much. But whenever I fancy buying something it always goes ballistic  :lol:

Still shouldn't complain. Bought my 110 on eBay for £1200 and it's done OK.
