« on: November 10, 2005, 20:49:13 »
A Constable from the Cambridgeshire Constabulary was lightly disciplined by his force for helping to save a suicidal man, after the mans father complained about the method of restraint.

Ridiculous!, he probably saved the mans life

BBC News

The officer isn't named there, but in the 'Daily Mail'[/b] he is.

The playgroup were on the news in the east Midlands tonight.
Wasn't it in Hampshire.

The person that put the complaint in wasn't available for comment.
They run a B and B surely the hours of a playgroup shouldn't bother their trade.

The kids now have to play musical chairs without any music

Heard about the play group.  There's a popular headmaster up here whose's suspended, and has been for sometime, for rescuing a 10 year old girl from two boys who locked her in a cupboard.  One boys parents found a briuse on they're pride and joy.  No thought for the girl.

Getting to the point I wish I had followed up the chance to move up Yorkshire out in the middle of nowhere

I must admit I miss the quite life, living in a town has no real enjoyment for me anymore

Apparantly they certainly can't be called 'Fairy Lights' either, for fear of offending the gay community

I liked the story of the householder who got asked by the Police not to put his 20,000 lights & decorations up, or he might get an ASBO
