Damp patch!
« on: November 13, 2005, 23:03:57 »
Does anyone else get a puddle in the boot of their truck after rain? I removed the carpet as things seemed to be growing on it and now I can see the puddle after rain, had a look can see nothing obvious, but think there is bit of gap between top of rear door and roof. Any ideas other than a bucket in the back!

yeah check around the alpine windows for any splits in the rubber and around the back windows and on the back door thats where mine was coming in apart from that there is meant to be somewhere around the guttering that leaks apparently you need to fill a hole around a panel gap coz landrover couldnt be bothered or missed it but someone on here might know what bit it is.   joe

mine was doing exactly the same. every time it rained i had a wet floor in the boot. turned out the be the rear door was out of alignment. get a hose on the rear of the truck while you sit in the boot. you will see where its coming in.

Had the same problem, Turn out the previous owner had replaced the rear washer jet for the wrong one and that was letting the water in. :x
