DISCO LIGHTING BAR!
« on: November 22, 2005, 08:16:53 »
Hi there:
just bought a disco lighting bar bit thick any idea how to wire em in?
just removed the additional driving lights on the DISCO ES (as we pulled the bottom of the bumper off!!) whilst arguing with a rut!
Can the additionals be wired in easy enough into the extra switch?

Also still cant see the speedo dials etc in the dark: the dials are ok but you cannot see the "fingers" showing speed/temp/revs etc!

Anyone in notts/midlands any good with electrics?

Just added a load of mud stuff stickers on the real windows they look great and excellent quality!
Guyz into off roading sensibly and taking machinery and driving skills to the limit! but please dont scratch it!
>weve now got two v8s!
is that a v16 then?>

Easy enough to fit , if you can find the aux wiring you could use that simply run the wires down and solder on.
You could put in a completly new switch but always use a relay. If you are unsure buy a pre made kit from Halfords...about 11 quid. They have instructions, the wires are colour coded so its a doddle. If you wire it yourself use 27 amp wire...no point scimping as hot wires = electrical fire...not good
