have bought another green oval machine i collect it thursday,as of yet i have no name for it,hopefully diesel, duck and s c ruffy will be friendly to it.s c ruffy will meet it first with duck as the three of us are doing the collection.we didn't think it was right to let it find it's way to us.
as you can gather we refer to the series as it as we haven't met so don't know it's temprement

i will have to take a new signature photo and hopefully daz can correct it like last time when i made a pigs ear of it

Hey Miniman, when you got stuck (sorry delayed) at Whitworth, we only knew where you were cos we could see the aerial bobbing around, is this so we can see you before the aerial  :D Just think of the wading possibilities with that!!!

Perkins 4203 are a long stroke diesel engine used in tracktors, large dumpers, forklift trucks, roadside generators, there are all sorts of different applications for them. Have a look on the net. Its on a conversion plate to fit to the gearbox. They are very low reving but very powerfull engines.

Got one of them in my truck  , well it's a 4236 (3.8), yes low reving but it will not only pull your house down but next door down too, i have got a high ratio with overdrive gearbox to fit in to help out on the top end as 55mph is thrashing it to death  ,

There ya go. Perkins have a very big range of engines so you may be right. Have you got a pic of the engine in the JCB.  Anybody else know what has a perkins engine in like the 4203 or similar.
