Bespoke hoses
« on: November 23, 2005, 20:46:13 »
Just a thought...

Dose anyone make hose kits for a 200 TDi conversion using a disco engine in to a defender? I have searched around and haven't come across anyone that dose.

I was toying with the idea of getting a kit made with all the necessary hose lengths to do the conversion.

Was thinking along the lines of something similar to the silicone replacements you can get for production cars etc

I'm not sure if the idea would be viable because of the cost to manufacture the hoses, i assume it wouldn't be cheep as the mandrels would have to be made to make the hoses on. something i would have to look in to further.

Any thought's or is this a bad idea.
Regards
Matthew
