SUMP GUARD AND LIGHT BAR INSTALL

Tried to install the Sump guard "easy 5 min install" couldnt release the bolt (does it really mean taking out the screw through the steering? what happens if I managed it does the steering drop? ) gave up on that one!
Also light bar looks easy but is anyone an electrical wizz ? will happily pay for the completion of both: tried loads of WD40 and couldnt release it ! located in mansfield by the way can travel to get fixed though!

I went and bought a new nut and bolt then knocked the old one out with a lump hammer.
The steering wont drop so dont worry.

the easyest thing for the electrics is to go to halfrauds or similar and get a lighting kit, which comes complete with relay, wire and switch. it also comes with the connections diagram to make life easyer-ish

if its the bolt to hold the steering box on, grind the nut off, punch the bolt out and stick a new h/t galv bolt in or try an impact gun/socket and a small amount of heat ( dont boilo the fluid !) your local garage may do it for you if you havent got one. but if it is stiff good and proper i'd do the first option.

They are stubborn ....takes longer than 5 minutes to do anything on a Landrover.... sometimes take that long to get mine going!
Where in Notts are you? Im in bramley in Rotherham ...wiring is easy...sump guard depends on bolts im afraid..pm me
