Uprating suspension
« on: November 30, 2005, 19:16:56 »
Hi All,
I am fitting a Nissan SD33 engine into my 90.I need to uprate the springs and shocks all round. The 90 is mainly used on roads. There are a lot of 1 inch or 2  inch kit arround, which is the best value?Or would it be better to buy heavy duty springs.Any help with the set up would be great .
Thanks. :)

Eyup mate,
im replying cos nobody else has done.
ive got a 90 myself and i got a2" lift kit from paddock motors at malvern.  i also got a polybush kit  and the total came to just over £300, the springs are the nice bright yellow ones and the shockers are gs 9000. its great for off-roading but also sound on the road.
i havent changed the front radius arms for the caster adjusted ones cos i dont have p.a.s and it doesnt seem to make much difference.
hope this gives you a bit better picture
