STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST ?
« on: March 21, 2004, 09:29:31 »
HI FOLKS.
DUE TO MR MOT MAN SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR ONLY ALLOWED 1 HOLE IN AN EXHAUST SYSTEM (PREFERABLY AY THE BACK END WITH SMOKE COMING FROM IT) I FEEL ITS TIME TO INVEST IN STAINLESS.

I SAW THE PIECE IN LRO THIS MONTH WITH THAT 2.8 DISCO GETTING THE DOUBLE 'S' UTILITY SYSTEM AND THAT APPEALS BUT DOES ANYONE HAVE AN OPPINION ( EITHER PRE OR POST FITMENT )?
CHEERS,RICH

P.S. MOT MAN ALSO DIDN'T LIKE WATER/MUD/FISH/PLANKTON INSIDE OFFSIDE HEADLIGHT :?

Surely with regarding the headlamp, you reassured him, you thought it was a main beam DIP!! headlight, and you had been testing it

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40

As long as the beam pattern isn't affected by the water in the
bottom of the light unit he will be unable to fail it..

Depending on how much play day type of off roading I'm going to do should/would influence the type of exhaust I'd buy.
I've seen loads of back boxes taken out. Usually on a failed hill climb when the motor rolls back and on to the exhaust.

Unfortunately my exhaust is now first in the firing line after modifying the departue angle.

WENT FOR THE DOUBLE 'S' UTILITY  SYSTEM WHICH REMOVES THE CENTRE BOX.
£169 DELIVERED,  :D
WAS EASY TO FIT , THOUGH NO BOLTS INCLUDED SO WOULD RECOMMEND GETTING SOME PRIOR TO FITTMENT AS THE WILL SHEAR!
END RESULT IS GREAT AND THE BACK BOX IS TUCKED RIGHT OUT OF THE WAY ALSO GIVING A NICE BURBLY SOUND BUT NOT TOO EXTREME.
ALL IN ALL
