Wow these guys couldnt have been much slower! having smashed my rear screen at whaddon i phoned the insurance company as soon as i got home and they said there was a piece of glass but it was in Birmingham and they would bring it down overnight at fit it the following day, excellent i thought.

The next day i rang them up to be told that that was not the case and it would have to be ordered from landrover. Ok I thought i usually get stuff next day from landrover so a big customer like RAC should get things quickly too. they said it would be in thursday it never arrrived so then they said Friday, still nothing, it will be in monday sir they said. so i phoned again on monday it wasnt in our delivery sir by this time i was getting fed up (it was flippin cold with no rear window)

They phoned me yesterday to tell me it was in nine days after I first phoned them, then they said you can bring it in tomorrow morning and we will fit it so I told them no way I will be in after work I have waited long enough it took them an hour to fit they were not happy at having to work half an hour late! At least they said the motor look good that was the only good bit about the whole thing

I used them once and they were, er, rubbish.

They broke some trim on the Volvo, took about a month to get a replacement part, then *I* had to take it to a body shop to get it sprayed, then they refitted it wrongly.  They also got silicon sealant all over the bodywork.  Total bunch of incompetents.  I'd use Autoglass in future.  They're also muppets but not total idiots.

Just my opinion of course.

Sorry to hear that mate, feeling pangs of guilt as the glass broke when you shut the door after getting recovery gear out to pull me free (again   ).

I owe you quite a few drinks at the next event.

By the way, check out the videos in my signature, some of your handy work in one of those.
