All!!!

I need to find somewhere that is either "just country lanes" (i.e. almost UCR) with somewhere to park and film, or the use of some kind persons land for some "offroad" shots in Northamptonshire (pref. near East Hunsbury).

This will on Monday 5th December. There are no close by lanes which are open..hence my plea!!

What about round Winwick? That was very "just country lanes" plus a very good stone surfaced BOAT leading out towards White House Farm

Why not pop over to Dodford, a couple of UCR's around and a small ford. One mile east of Weedon on the A45.

Should only be about 10/15mins from your house, can't really think of anywhere suitable north of N'hampton.

Theres three or four good lanes west of Braunston (not sure if that's Northants or just in Warks though).

Neil, what about Whaddon? or even Bow Brickhill? I know there not in Northampton, but both sites would be good for a photo shoot.

I have numbers for both sites if you need them.

Thanks for the offers ;-) Frankie-Boy did me proud and we have now completed the filming. I'm knackered! The kids now know how hard it can be when filming .... they behaved well though, even if they had to go through their morning routine 20 times while being filmed! ;-)

Program will be airing in January - I'll post details as when I get them.

Was odd driving around with Owl bristling with cameras (interior and exterior!). Hopefully this should be a well balanced piece, although we had to do the debate more than once, I'm not sure what lines they'll use!!

Where did you end up going in the end ?

They have a knack of cutting a full day of filming down to about 10 mins of actual telly time and pad out with bull for the remainder.

I once gave a filming crew a well drafted sheet of paper with all the relevant information like age, number of years involved with the reason for filming, etc and they managed to get it wrong.

Never again will I entertain them.

This was around 2 days of filming. Lot's of external filming, cameras in the vehicle while the debate was taking place etc etc.

If nothing else there will be some HUGE mud-club splats on TV ;-)
