It stopped at £5300 didn't it? Is that not close enough? Is it worth contacting the highest bidder to see if they will go any higher?

That's fair enough (and I wasn't suggesting that you let it go :wink: ) but the trouble with e-bay and reserve prices is that you don't know how much someone would actually go to. If the highest bidder actually bid £6500, but the current highest was only £5200 then the max bid will only go to £5300 ... that's right isn't it?

So, I wondered if it might be worth contacting the highest bidder to check their actual top offer :)

the guy that was bidding contacted me and said he is only willing to go to 5500 so its not worth pestering the guy  :cry:  plus i did not like his attiude so rather it did not sell than to him  :roll:

I would of snatched his hand off for 5,500 , Top spec Discos(es) are falling 800pounds a month -according to Glasses guide -due to new model release , you will never be offered that price again . my sister in law has just sold R reg  tdi 67,000 for 4,850  and that was a es with leather and all goodies -not a van , hers had been on market 3mnths fmdsh ,

sorry roger but i have seen dogs off vehicles goin for more and have met there price im sticking to my guns i need at least 5900 to complete my nxt project if i cant get that then i will not bother yes hers may have been a an es etc etc but mine is not inclined for that if thats wot they want then they would never look at mine!! it will be someone with a specific idea or lookin for something diffrent so i will bide my time  :wink: if it does not go then out comes the angle grinder bobtail time/pick up  :wink:

because it takes a bit of dosh for that my friend so i need to sell her to get something cheaper e.g 200tdi def then have some money left to put the puxters mark on it  :wink: plus to be honest i dont want to cut this disco about  :wink:
