FACTORY ALARM??

Normally when i lock car via the fob i get no indicators flashing buttons just drop and all is locked dash light illuminates.
today (after goin to whaddon and goin through the water)i locked it as usual and indicators flashed 3 times and dash light flashes fast for approx 5 sec,s the slows to normal pace?
what have i done and do i blame jake (:wink:)  for egging me on to go in the water at www2?(felt brave this time out) :roll:  :roll:  :roll:

mine does that all the time when i lock it :D  it only stops doing that if i lock the car by key to enable the perimetric side of the alarm so the dog dont set it off when he,s in there

and yes, mine does that all of the time too.....

nothing to do with the wd40 i sprayed in the trailer socket before i set out to play then?

Mine used to do that flashing routine but has recently stopped doing it which is irritating. But the alarm and all seem to work.
