Return spring fitting to carbs
« on: December 10, 2005, 17:10:15 »
My local Land Rover club requires the fitment of a return spring to the carbs, I assume to make sure the engine revs return to idle if theres a break in the throttle cable or an accident.

Has anyone done this ? How is it done ? I am assuming its just a matter of bodging some sort of spring on the rods at the back of the carb ?

Thanks

Yes Twin SUs.  Doesnt that make the throttle pedal as stiff as the clutch !
