Is this tube fastened in on the inside of the block?

I was wondering, cause if I'd pulled any harder I was expecting the flaming engine to rise up off the mountings :lol:

I think you'll find a small bracket about half way down the tube.

Yep got that, just very tight in the hole, its at the bracket where the tube has broken off, make for a nice smell when you rev up :lol:

Mine did that - I was able to get the bracket loosened and splint the tube using a chopped up irn-bru can (what else living in Scotland) and a couple of small hose clips. Completely shredded my fingers in the process...

Unfortunately, the clamp is where the flaming thing broke, so removal and braising would be preferable, but if not looks like the jb weld tubes will be in use if I can clean the bits up enough.

Never thought you'd need an engine lift to remove the flaming thing
