Ghosties and Ghoulies.......How scary, NOT!
« on: December 11, 2005, 00:47:26 »
Right I was having a discussion in the Pub Friday night with a Lass who was telling me about some rubbish she watches on rich mans telly (Sky) about 'real haunted places' and how interesting She thought it was.  I rubbished it saying no such places exist, I regularly stay in a old schoolhouse in North Yorks that is supposed to have 2 Ghosts in it, i have wandered around the basement with no lights and frankly i'm not scared.  So to settle the argument what i need is a very haunted place in the West Riding i can take her to to show her what a load of old rubbish it is (or even better scare me to death :(scared): ).

Any Ideas?

Oh if poss i would prefer a non touristy place where it wont cost owt (Yorkshire Thrift  )
'ear all, see all, say nawt; Eyt all, sup all pay nawt; An' if ivver tha does owt fer nawt; Allus do it fer thi sen.

Pick anywhere that is dark and drafty. Just tell her it is haunted and she will be seeing ghosts before you know it

Most Haunted   should be Most Haunted NOT

I've seen more action filmed by the CCTV cameras inside and outside my house. If you get a CCTV camera with infra red leds, put it inside a room and turn the lights off, WOW, did you see that! It's an orb   No it ain't, it's dust reflecting infra red light.

And an 18Hz audio generator will set them mood nicely.

I stayed at the Ancient ram Inn at Wooten Under Edge a couple of months ago.  Definately haunted!  We're going back next summer for another stay and an Evening Bar-b-Q ...  I'll post details here if your interested!

I got it from Halfrauds .... flourescent over a whte primer.  To be honest, its one of them things that seemed a good idea at the time but I reckon It'll have to go!  Mind you, if I sell the V-max in the spring then the whole thing will have to go, then I'll replace it with a deisel 90!
