Has anyone fitted an alternator on one of these things? Just looking at a mates 1.8 k series (v reg) and it looks like the aircon pipes have to come off. Dont really want to pay for de gas aqnd re gas afterwards!
Is there an easier way?
Cheers
Mike

had a look in the workshop manual & it would appear to be a doddle to change the alternator,no mention of aircon pipes
