Fitting DEVON fender flares ?

Hi,

How long wil it take to fit these, i have a 2 door Disco so no cutting the rear doors :D, anyone done this mod :?:

Depends on how good the bodyworker is.   Allow a day for it to be done properly.

if you can borrow a "nibbler" its a doddle. I fitted mine in about 2 hours, they are still there ,err i think.
Just remember measure twice cut once and you will be ok. The nibbler takes a lot of hassle out of the job being slower and far more controlable than a jig / air saw. plus it cant hit anything behind!

Using a jigsaw I think it took about 2 hours to do the first one and 45 minute for the last. That was cutting the wing, shaping the flare to fit and installing it.

On the front you have to remove the plastic inner wheelarch, this is rivited to the inside of the wing!

The winch bumper is easy, nothing an angle grinder & coat of paint won't sort out. As for the Rock Sliders, I had them made to my dimentions so they fitted!!  :wink:

Thanx guys know i can estimate the time the work takes so he won't rip me off 8)  8) (he's done already 4 other cars so he has some experience, i ask him for a quote first :twisted: ).
Tommorow my car goes to the garage for a MOT,Safari snorkel, Flares and a side exhaust :D  :D  :D

(how do i tell my girlfriend se wil be :shock:  :shock: )
