i am trying to find the name of a piece of software
the software is used to work out changes in word documents
the software will give usernames and changes they have made to a document
this sort of software was used on 'the wepons of mass destruction' document written by the goverment and showed the changes to the original document and who made them

If you ae using an uptodate version of Word, I know it has a review changes facility, not sure if it lets you know who has changed what though (we have it here but not on mine   ).

The problem with anything like that though is, if anyone is going to change anything vital - wouldn't they use somebody elses computer?

Plus you need to have a username based versioning system setup from the beginning.

Im not sure if this is built into all word documents from day 1.  I tend not to use proprietary software.
