This time of year Gords Its most likely Steam? Or Condensation? But don't take my word for it!
is it cold when it does it? if so then normal condensation being evaporated from the exhaust is the cause or does it always do it even when hot?
keep an eye on all the levels

The smoke screw wasn't touched Colin, we only did the diaphram and that was only turned through 90 degrees so the smoke screw should be left at the standard setting.
Actually, not even 90 degrees ... "half past two" rings a bell
